Default Tips on growing out solar nails? Help!

I got solar nails in September and LOVE them! However,I do realize they are very damaging to my natural nails, and pretty pricey for the upkeep. What I have been doing is getting the white tip french manicure at the salon, and then about 2 weeks later,do my own color manicures at home for about the next 3 weeks. This way I'm stretching my salon visits to about every 5 weeks. I'm wondering if anyone has tips for me on how to minimize the ridges that are fairly noticeable at the nail bases as they grow out? Also, I'm planning on doing this at the salon just 1 more time for an upcoming vacation. After that, I'd really like to let them totally grow out and just have my natural nails, but there again is that pesky outgrowth ridge problem!

When you let them grow out there will be no pesky ridge problem that will be gone , however be prepared, when I stopped using acrylic nails , my natural nails were very thin and took awhile to get back to normal. They did , though and I now have natural nails .
