Since brand sizes vary a little bit, Lee Ann actually has a sizing survey on her website. You punch in your measurements, and in a couple of days, you get an email stating what size in Little In The Middle jeans would fit you best. Another wonderful thing about LTM jeans is that she designed them so the rise is SLIGHTLY higher in the back than it is in the front...so there is a bit more fabric to go around the curve of the bum. When they are on, the rise looks even. It prevents the issue with some jeans on curvy women, where they aren't high enough in the back, and you have crack or undies showing.

aphil- It was indeed you that shared the info about these jeans! LITM are great but out of my starving-student price range. Just sharing the info for others to enjoy ;)

LOL, my prob is the opposite-- smaller hips, bigger waist.
I need BITM ;)

I just took the plunge and ordered a pair of LITM jeans :carrot:

I buy Suddenly Skinny cami's to wear under my shirts. They are at Target, Walmart & sometimes I can find a random print at Ross. I just make sure it's that exact brand. They pull in your stomach & help smooth out lumps, also I have a bubble butt so jeans always gap because my waste is smaller, so it also goes over my jeans which helps keep them up without a bulky belt! They are about $16. Cheaper obviously if you find one at Ross, buti love them :)

Thanks for that suggestion! Do you know how they fit around the bust? I wear a 30GG/H, do you think they'd still fit? Cheap is always good. :D

I'd definitely suggest trying one on. They actually pull your chest in a little, there is a new one I saw at Walmart today with the chest portion cut out so try that one if not. I'm a B-C lol so not sure, but my girlfriend is a DD 230 she wears An XL and never complained about her chest, it doesn't have the same material for that part but still spandex-y.

You can go to the Walmart website & search Sweet Nothings or Suddenly Skinny & it will pull up :) Sweet Nothings is the brand and they all say Suddenly Skinny on them. They have leggings, camisoles/spaghetti straps, LS and SS shirts :) I personally only have the Cami's but I wear one everyday under my shirts. I have like 7 I think.

... Oh and... Lol.... The Flexees Fat Free Dressing items that Someone posted about, that brand is sold at Kohl's (perhaps other places to) and I think it's closer to $35 a tank, but same thing I'm talking about. So anytime your in the stores try em out! And if you have a Ross they have a section next to underwear, usually theirs are cheap & don't smooth me out, but sometimes they have a brand that actually works, and it's about $4 - $10

I have a terrible time finding jeans and pants that don't gap in the back and are high enough waisted to keep my tummy in without looking silly. And, I have bigger thighs too, which adds to the waist gapping problem. My upper body is so easy to fit, and I'm great in dresses, but trying to find things to fit my lower body is HUGE pain!

About a month ago, after two frustrating days of shopping for jeans, I came across a pair of Lee brand pants with a "no gap waistband" and fell in love with the fit. Though it's an elasticized waist you can't tell from the appearance of the pant, and it holds in my tummy nicely and there is truly no gap. I think this one is the style I have (http://www.lee.com/store/LEE_STORE_U...n-trouser.html), but if you look at the pants on the Lee website it appears they have a few other similar styles with the same waistband (the other styles seem to have slimmer legs). Looking at the size chart, it seems like they run very true to that - I bought 12s at the time and my hip and waist measurements at the time fit those listed for 12s. Now that I'm a little smaller the pants are getting a bit large after a wear, and my current measurements fit those listed for 10s. The best part, though, is that they're cheap. :D
