I tried them on today-- wasn't impressed. I have the opposite problem of too small of hips. The slight curve fit my waist-hip ratio well, but there was a buch of sagginess in the butt area, and my butt is pretty nicely rounded, so I don't know why there was so much extra fabric. Maybe I should have gone down to a 10. I'm kind of on the borderline, but overall I wasn't too impressed. Of course, they'll fit everyone differently, so you should try them on. I saw them at all the department stores in the mall, so they're easy to find, and they ran about $45-$50.

tkdtara - hmmm. I wonder if having narrower hips will make this line a bit of a miss for you. Do you have trouble buying "regular" jeans usually?

They are expensive...but fabulous for extreme hourglass and pear shaped figures. She actually designed the jeans so compared to standard jean measurements, they are one size smaller in the waist than they are in the hip. A size 10.1, for instance, is a 10 waist, 12 hip/thigh. There is a measurement questionairre you can fill out, and you'll get an email telling you what size to order...and email and ask her about any sales or discounts! Best jeans I have ever worn! I would rather pay $$$ for one pair to fit CORRECTLY than to buy 4 pair that don't fit right. ;)

I've never heard of these. I will have to google! All of my pants have to be taken in the waist and now I need them taken in a second time. I'm worried they will just be uncomfortable with four darts in the back.

Edit: Okay, they are a little expensive but I've paid over $100 so that's fine. I just hate the idea of ordering online. Here I find yet another reason to go to Miami (they have a store...and I love Miami).

There is no trouble with ordering them online. They have the thing where you send in your measurements to her, and they tell you what size to order. If there is a problem with the fit, Lee is really good about exchanging them. They currently sell them with a longer inseam, so shorter ladies will have to hem them, or take them in to get hemmed. That costs me about $7-$8 here in Indiana. Not a biggie at all. It's worth it to have jeans that I don't have to paper bag cinch up in the back. ;)

I recently bought some Levi's Perfectly Slimming 512 Boot Cut Jeans. I have never worn a boot cut before, always hated them. I love this jean. My Mom commented about how long my legs look in them. I was also stopped outside Starbucks by a husband/wife. They said they were looking at my Levi's and they looked good on me. That was a shocker that total strangers would stop me to comment like that. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_007A5902000P
