I can't wait to buy myself a ....

  • What's on your goal weight shopping list?

My two key ingredients are a custom-fitted corset (seriously, if you have never worn a corset you'd probably be astonished how comfy they are, much better than a bra anyway)

and a pair of speciality wheelchair jeans. I've always had to wear assorted horrors such as elasticated waist, maternity jeans, larger sizes to cover the back where they slip down, but the worst problem when you are sat down like that all day is as you skid forward in your chair the centre seam becomes tighter and tighter on your *ahem* area. I want a pair of the special ones with a flat seam and higher at the back than the front and a long zip for dressing so that I can look like I have normal jeans on that fit me.

Oh, and the other non-clothing goal is a new wheelchair cushion, I'll be able to fit both me and a decent-sized cushion into my chair, can't wait for something comfy.
  • Hm. Good question.

I can't wait to buy a simple shift dress, the kind of straight up and down 1960s kind.
I can't wait to buy a wide belt to go round my waist. I don't have a waist as such and any belt I buy would just sink into the crevasse between my top roll and my bottom roll.
I can't wait to buy some high heels. Haven't worn them in decades, would like to try.

I can't think of any more - but I'm going to spend a lot of today trying!
  • Knee-high boots. Most of the other things I'd want, I've always worn, just sized to fit me.

What I look forward to most though is shopping in the same stores with my daughters.

I would like to wear a belt and tuck in my shirt!

  • Knee high boots!!!!
  • Size small American Apparel leggings. I hate being a large.
and purchasing an oversized shirt that actually looks oversized when I wear it, rather than look like a normal shirt. That would be fab.
  • I actually just started a list of things I want to buy when I get to goal. (My possible second goal of 130 that I won't add to my signature until I get to 150.)

Like a lot of other women here, I want a pair of knee high boots.
A mini skirt. (Well, a mini skirt to me is anything a couple inches above the knees. )
    Skinny jeans.
    A slinky/slip dress.
  • I love this topic! I can't wait to buy something in a size SMALL!

This is on my list too!

I want to buy a tight, form fitting dress (think something Kim Kardashian would wear) without having to tuck in my tummy or worry a roll was exposed.
