Clothing material

Now I don't know if anyone else has had this problem... but I guess I'm about to find out. It seems like the material they make shirts out of sometimes just...sucks. I don't know what material it is, actually, I need to go check. But I buy nice shirts, and they just feel so THIN like they're made out of nothing, and it feels like they stretch out too easily, to the point where they no longer look good. It's probably a combination of me pulling them down across my stomach, and my boobs (not to toot my own horn but they're a nice size). I just always feel like I'm buying way more shirts than I need to, and I'm hoping that once I lose weight it won't be that much of an issue (if I have no stomach or less of a stomach to cover, it should.)

It's actually sort of strange because I'm very short, so normally shirts are freakishly long on me. But yeah. Just sharing. Has anyone else encountered this? I need to be careful about what shirts I buy now, otherwise I end up getting rid of them in just a matter of months.

I know what you mean about the thin-ness of material in some of the shirts these days. Besides being revealingly tight, they just aren't very warm either. I like the heavier weight shirts (as in t-shirts) but if I buy a small men's size...they are too long like you said.

It just confuses me, none of my friends shirts are like that. And it seems like so many stores are using it now. I just don't like it. I guess now it doesn't matter, since it's winter and I can get away with sweaters and leggings, but for the summer I'd like to have some shirts I can actually wear without worriying about stretching when I take them off or put them on.
