Default Skin Issues

Okay,

I used to just wash my face with dove everyday and never had any 'oily skin' issues. Over the last few weeks since I have changed my eating and began drinking tons of water I have noticed my skin is now very oily and I am breaking out in pimples What is up with that???

i've always had oily skin and hair. washing with baby aspirin, mix uncoated pill into face wash, really helps. prevents and gets rid of whats already there. exfoliates too. moisturize if needed, it can be very drying. but its the cheapest fix there is.

I'm no expert on this but I'm pretty sure it's common to initially get pimples after switching to a healthier diet and starting to drink lots of water.

I think it's like flushing all the 'badness' out of your system and it shows up on your skin. I would think it will normalize soon enough.

i hope thats true for you. unfortunately for me, it doesnt matter how great my diet is or isnt. i'm going to have adult acne for life. hopefully menapause will help a bit. pregnancy helped tone it down, i think. i've heard of bc that helps, but since i'm completely unwilling to go on the pill. i'm terribly forgetful. saying i'll go on the pill is signing up for a baby, which i dont want right now. so i'm not even 30 yet, got prob 15 or more years of this stuff to deal with.
so i'll wash with aspirin and hand soap a few times a week. keep my oily hair off my face, and i wish i knew those things at 13. so i try to pass it on.
