Anyone ever try Wen?

  • I saw the infomercial AGAIN and am interested in trying it, but would like to hear "real" people's experiences with it. For those who don't watch informercials, it's a hair care shampoo/conditioner/styling product all in one that doesn't have harsh chemicals. Supposedly my hair won't be frizzy after air drying which would be awesome.

    Let me know!
  • I'm curious too! I even looked on ebay to see if I can snag something cheaper BUT they seem to do well on there, so might as well buy direct. Thinking if it does good on ebay someone is buying it because it works! I'll probably break down in October for my b-day + try it out! I'll post then
  • I use it and love it. But it is expensive. I have very long thick curly hair, so I have to use a lot of product. If you have a Sally's near you, they have a product called HAIR ONE that to me is just the same at 1/2 the price.
I've been using both for a couple of years. I'm on the auto ship for Wen and was thinking about dropping it cause I like the hair one just the same.
  • I have very long, color-treated hair. I've tried Wen and wasn't very impressed. It's expensive (I had to use nearly half a bottle for just 1 use) and it's very time consuming (you must rinse & rinse & rinse).
I'm much more impressed with Moroccan Oil shampoo & conditioner (available at Sally's).
  • My daughters friend has long thick hair and she uses it and her hair looks great. I don't know if it is better looking/healthier than before she started using it because I did not know her then.

I did not know they sold something similar at Sallys, I might give that a try.
  • I can't stand how much you have to use and my hair was GREASY, no matter WHAT.
  • I wasn't impressed with wen either. And the auto ship crap irritated me as well because my first shipment was a smaller supply and then my second shipment was HUGE bottles of the stuff and they charged me almost double. If I had a sally's nearby i would definitely try something others have recommended. I tried wen over 2 years ago and I still get e mails fromthem trying to get me back.
  • A fantastic alternative to Wen is Hair One, available at Sally's. About $11!!! I won't use anything else now. My hair is terribly chemically abused, and it's given it softness and life back. Much cheaper option if you just want to try it out and see if it's for you (and no annoying auto renew club involved!).
  • Awesome! Thanks for the tip about Sally's . . . I am sure my husband will be happy about me trying that first!

My hair is pretty long and I don't always have time to blow dry it out and right now it's been way too hot to even think about using the blow dryer anyway.

I will definitely try and let you know how it goes.
  • Wen is great but very expensive. Please go get the hairone from sallys. Its just as good!
  • Try Hair one from Sallys first.
I like Wen, But I have very long hair and it takes alot of product to wash 30 pumps of product and then another 18 pumps to condition.
and even a large bottle don't last.

I love to shave my legs with it!
