Waitress is an all-around good color. It goes well with just about every skin tone, and even after all of these years I still get compliments on it all the time. My mom even calls me from the salon so I can tell her manicurist exactly which color she wants lol. I can't get into the Shrek colors, but their Alice in Wonderland "Mad as a Hatter" was sexy stuff.

Im not really a waitress is amazing on any skin tone....and you will love it!!! highly recommend it!

My hubby treated me to a pedi last week and I went with An Affair in Red Square.

Love the bright colors on my toes, now just have to figure out what I am willing to put on my fingers !

I work in a Penney's salon and we sell OPI. Consequently, I own over 30 different colors, haha. I love painting my nails!! Just today I put on one of the new Shrek colors...What's With the Cattitude. Lol, it's a pale blue and I love it!

I also like to layer Strawberry Margarita with Princesses Rock! I'm wearing that on my toes now!

Other favorites include: You're Such a Kabuki Queen, Pompeii Purple (which is actually a pink!), Cajun Shrimp, and Lincoln Park After Dark.

I do one coat of a very pale pink or peach, two if the polish is thinner. Something like "Time Less is More" or "Mimosas for Mr. and Mrs".

My last pedicure (which was a horrible experience overall, BTW) I found a great new OPI color - Sonic Bloom. In the bottle, it looks light blue, but on my toes it's a really pretty, opalescent, seafoam green color. I'm pretty fair, and it looks great on my toes.

I love "Over the Taupe" and "You Don't Know Jaques" at the moment, and they also make some really gorgeous dark colours like "Here Today, Aragon Tomorrow"

Think I'm one of the few who doesn't really like "I'm Not Really a Waitress". For me it's a bit "old lady"

I totally get this. When I was a kid, all "old ladies" (who were, in reality, probably about 30!) wore bright red nail polish, so I always make this association in my head. ;)

I love OPI! My current favorite is Lincoln Park After Dark which is a dark maroon, almost black.

There is a local salon here that does private pedicure parties after hours and you can bring in your own adult beverages and appetizers and have a girls night out. So there is a group of girls that gets together every 4 to 6 weeks for these parties. I never pick out the same OPI color and the more outrageous the better. Toes are meant to be displayed proudly and I wear my flip flops are close to the cold weather as I can possibly tolerate. Pedicures are the one thing that I make sure to do for myself. Anyways - got off subject a bit. As I said, I pick a different color each time. Right now I am sporting the new OPI summer flutter collection - catch me in your net. Before that I had the OPI Shrek line - Ogre the top blue. I am going to a pedicure party this week and can't wait to see what the salon has for me to try. Although I'm really not a waitress is one that I love too.

In late fall I plan to try their suede collection. Great thread - thanks for starting it.

I had a pedi done on Saturday and I am now wearing OPI's Overexposed in South Beach. Very pretty!!

I went last night and decided to go with a more traditional color: strawberry margarita but spruced it up a bit. Used strawberry margarita as the base with a overlay of silver glitter polish and then black zebra stripes on top of that. I told the nail tech to do what she wanted and this is what she came up with. If I decide that I don't like them then I can always get them redone but right now I am happy! Thanks again for the fun post!

my two faves are
bogota blackberry (a really nice dark red) and grand central carnation (shimmery pink)

and i also love the nicole by opi collection and my fave ones of those are
