What makeup articles do you carry with you?

I usually put my makeup on at home, and go. I don't carry it in my purse, as a general rule. But today my emotions are so on edge I thought I should take it with me in case I need damage control.

What do you usually carry with you?

I ALWAYS have an eyeliner, mascara and one foundation thing. I dont usually carry eyeshadow or anything. A lot of times Ill run out of the house and forget Ito put my makeup on but I usually have those basics with me.

I never leave the house without makeup (call me high maintance!) but I carry foundation, eyeliner, mascara, & lipstick/gloss! gotta have the essentials just in case!!

Just lipstick.

Nothing. I rarely wear make-up so I don't carry anything... Even on the days when I do put make-up on, I don't take anything with me. I invested in good quality stuff so it doesn't wear off, etc. Although I can honestly say I've never worn make-up on a day I might need damage control...

Just foundation or concealer... my super-oily skin means that it "washes" off a few times a day (sorry, I'm sure that's a gross thought) and my acne becomes really obvious unless I re-cover it.

Oh, and my tinted lip balm (I don't wear lipstick)... but lip balm isn't so much "makeup" to me as "a substance essential for life" like water, food, or oxygen. :D

lipstick and eyeliner in case I am gone a long time

Lipgloss. I'm usually not wearing makeup. When I do, it's pressed powder, mascara, and lipgloss. And I only need to touch up the lipgloss. I wear makeup about - once a month.

I can hear the distinct trill of mother and aunts now... "But you look so preeeeeeetty with just a liiiiiiiiiitle."...

I keep, a travel sized mascara, lip/cheek stain, and the body shop blotter things in my car. I also have a travel hair brush, hair spry, and hand lotion in my glove compartment as well. I used to carry a portable curling iron as well, not any more.

Travel lots for work, and always want to be prepared.

Cream foundation, powder with a puff, lipgloss, and an eyeliner pencil.

How are you feeling today? Hope you are feeling better today! :)

I put my make-up on at home. I take with me a lipstick or gloss and a hairbrush. In the summer I also take loose powder.

Does chapstick count? LOL

Result of spontaneous purse-check, caused by this post:

- A packed powder compact with magnifying mirror & brush.
- Three Revlon lip color wands, one partly dried out: One nearly nude, one pale pink, one scarlet
- Lip gloss, since I discovered that said Revlon products chap my lips
- Miniature bottle of hand lotion from an expensive hotel.
- A Q-tip, for fixing eye make-up issues.

On a daily basis, lip gloss only. If I'm out at night I take the works:

Mineral make-up powder OR sponge-on creme foundation
Powder blush OR stick (NARS Orgasm, how fun is that!)
Eye pencil
Eye shadow
Mascara
Lip gloss
Brushes

I rarely (never?) need to touch anything up except for the lip gloss, but I'm paranoid!
