I have weird scent allergies.

One that I've never been allergic too (and pretty much the only one I'm not) is Narcisse by Chloe.

I absolutely love it.

^^ I also have allergies.. I don't wear perfume often because of that, I always have to take tylenol or ibuprofen if I'm going to wear perfume for a long night out or just come back and sleep it off.

I'm just curious what are your favourite scents. Perfumes and colognes. Mine has shifted through the years. In high school I loved Chanel #5, then for a few years I wore Red Door. Now I am really loving Sarah Jessica Parker's Lovely. I'm usually not one for Celeb scents, but Lovely is such a classic scent, I think I will be wearing that for a long time.
For men I'm partial to Nautica Classic, so hard to find though.

So what do you like?

Haha, I was just looking through perfumes online today after a loong time!
I really like Magical Moon by Hanae Mori, but I've been trying to find something different b/c I have the samples and whenever I wear it, everyone asks where the cigarette smell is coming from.. ?!!! It really doesn't smell like cigarettes to me, but I think when it wears down a little, the muskiness is what's left and cigarette smell is the most relative smell a person can extract from that..

Does anyone have suggestions for something that isn't fruity or sweet like most of the new stuff.. something kinda exotic, kinda flowery but not totally sweet..? Also not one that is meant for "older" women, only b/c I keep getting negative comments if I wear one lol, just doesn't suite me I guess.

I like florals. And I'm very cheap. I bought a rose spray at Ross for $3, and a Gardenia scent from Target $5. I switch out between these.

I also have about three squirts of 'Joy' and a half bottle of 'Obsession' but my parents bought both of these for me.

I'm also very cheap, so I have no brand loyalty, but mostly I love light and "clean" scents - soapy or grassy.

Last Christmas, my sister gave me a Bath and Body Works Gift card, and I bought sunkissed leaves, sea island cotton, dancing waters, japanese cherry blossom, and black amethyst.

The first three are my favorites. The dancing waters especially - I bought that in a body splash and a lotion (usually I buy body splashes and mists or lotions rather than cologne, because I don't like feeling as if I'm under a perfume cloud).

Starrynight: I'm flying tomorrow and I've already got the tylenol and antihistamines ready. No one every thinks about putting on perfume and scented lotions before being closed up for hours on a plane.

I got hives last time and had to be moved away from a lady.

Eek, that's awful!! Hope you don't have to use them! I usually just get a severe migraine that only goes away if I take something early on or sleep it off.. Some people really douse themselves! Have a good, safe trip! Where are u headed?

I'm heading from a village in northern Alaska to Mississippi. It's not too bad, only about a 36 hour trip this time.

I'm currently in bi-state living (months on at a job in Alaska, and then work in Mississippi in my "off" time) and it's time to head south for a while.

My current scents are Ralph Lauren Blue and Clinique Happy (which I've worn off and on for years).

I've worn CK Euphoria for 3 years now =) I get compliments and I love it.

My bf wears CK Eternity or Aqua di Gio which I love

Blue never gets old to me. So clean!

I have been wearing the Cedar from L'Occitane for a while, but I really like the Coach perfume. I also love Lavendar from L'Occitane... actually, I will wear just about anything from that store.

Another loyalist here. For more than 20 years, I've been wearing Cassini. It's a strong chypre & belongs to a family of scents that slowly went out of style over the past 10 years. But I never was the light, natural, floral type.

I've always liked strong, spicy scents. When I was in high school, my first passion was Estee Lauder's Cinnabar. (I think that's been discontinued for years.) I also liked the original Halston. I remember liking Maroq, which I think was a Revlon perfume. But once I found Cassini, I became loyal. With occasional infidelities with Red by Giorgio & Bal a Versailles.

Sung. I don't think I will ever change. I am frequently complimented on it so I think it's right for me. Plus, I love it myself and so does hubby.

I have a hard time selecting a new scent. The actual perfumes and colognes all start to smell like bug spray when I'm trying them out in the store. I smell things on other people that I really like, but when I'm trying to find one for myself I have a hard time.

It's really cool seeing other peoples preferences when it comes to scents. The sense of smell is so powerful. Any time I smell Old Spice I think of my Dad

My all time favorite is Frederic Malle's Musc Ravageur. I received a decant in an online swap years ago and I love it! Sadly, I can't afford a full bottle. It is crazy expensive by my standards.

So for spring and summer my favorite scent is Lolita Lempicka. For fall and winter I love Hypnotic Poison. However, I'm about to get a bottle of a new perfume called Nanette by Nanette Lepore. I was not a fan of her first scent, but I adore her new one! :D
