I have been invited to a themed 40th bday party. It is 70s disco-- think studio 54.

My general fashion style is slightly crunchy/boho with urban sophistication (SP?) when called for.

The hosts of this party are super stylish trendy work with the stars and love to talk about that world kind of people. (truth be told, I'm barely "cool" enough for them-- they actually still use that word in daily conversation)

I want to look disco glam-- super hot. thinking-- sequin/tube top/halter kind of thing.

HELP!!! Can any fashionistas out there point me to a web site that might have what I'm looking for?? (oh, and of course, I'm on a tight budget :p) (AND the party is next weekend, and I have close to no time to shop)

You might want to hit the goodwill or other used clothing stores in your area if you have any - you can often find some pretty funky dated stuff at that sort of place.

update- I ordered a maroon halter top vintage 70s dress. And the ebay seller emailed today to say I would have it soon. I may need to alter it but I plan to take pics and post them here.
Upper body lifting here I come! :)
