The possibilites are endless...what and where to get it. I think tats are extremely personal and are a great form of self expression. (I am not a buttterly on the lower back type of girl either.) After going through a divorce I decided to get my first tatoo. I searched for a few months before I decided what I really wanted. I got an Irish Claddagh on my right ankle. I always loved pictures of Ireland and I learned that they meant family, friendship and loyality. Three things that I realized were so important as I went through my divorce. A year later I got a four leaf clover on my other ankle.
Watch out for symbols in different languages. I know someone that got a tat that she thought she knew what it meant. It turned out that it didn't mean anything.
Is there a word from a mantra that you used during your transformation?
How about little chicken foot prints on the top of your foot for every 10 lbs that you lost. It could look like a itsy bitsy chick walked across your foot - - a real journey.
