Popup - you might get some ideas from this thread: Fat clothing you like - keep and adjust or toss? :)

Another option - thrift store clothes!

garage sells. You can find jeans at around a dollar a peice.

I take in skirts, but everything else I have donated. I then go to the same stores where I donated clothing and buy more. I don't have any clothes that I like so well that they are worth taking them apart, resizing them and then re-sewing them. I find that I actually prefer a different style of clothing now. I like more fitted silhouettes - something that I avoided at 200+ lbs.

I've already warned DH that we are going on a shopping spree when I reach my goal weight :)

I'm not sure where you live but there is a yahoo group you can join and people give away things they were going to throw away. I have given and received lots of great things. Then as you get smaller just relist the clothes and look for more. Let's face it not to many of us can afford to buy clothes at every size and it beats looking sloppy with your clothes hanging off of you.
