LB Jeans on sale

  • I don't know if all stores have done this, but my Lane Bryant has reduced all their old-sizing jeans to $9.99. They are making way for the new fit jeans that come in red, yellow, and blue cut, and sizes 1, 2, 3, and 4. I tried them on and I am a red. As it turns out the red are the same cut as the old jeans (sizes, 14, 16, 18, and so on), so I was able to get 4 pairs for the price of one!
  • Nice! When compared to the new jeans, the old jeans look like crap on me. I'm a yellow triangle. Their new ones are so nice! I bought 2 pairs and hopefully they will last me for awhile. I did get 10% off when I used my LB card with a coupon I got in the mail.
  • I forgot to thank you for the exciting tip! I'm going to call around tomorrow.

I for one am totally confused by the LB jeans. I went in and told them I needed a pair of 16s, since they fit me but are tight, and I am planning to lose weight quickly and the 18s that were tight a few weeks ago are falling off me.

The sales clerks told me that they didn't have those sizes any more, and I was forced to try on about five pairs of jeans. They told me that size 16 was the same as the new size 2. Well, the red size 2 hung off me like a sack, so it could not be the same sizing as the old jeans, since I was wearing them and they were tight. However, the yellow size 2 was so tight I could not even fasten them. The yellow size 3 was the best fit. The red size 1 was so tight I could not close them.

To me, this system is highly annoying. I went in LB expecting to grab a few pairs of jeans and some shirts and run out the door. I ended up buying only one pair of jeans, and I didn't trust any of the sizes and didn't have time to try on shirts.

Sadly, the size 3 yellows that fit yesterday feel pretty loose today and I had to wear a belt to keep them up. So now I feel even more confused.
