has anyone used any of the 24.7 skin care products from CVS? I am 28 and just starting to get some very fine lines around my eyes and want to start nipping them in the bud before they get worse. I've never used anything for wrinkles before, just acne stuff and regular moisturizer. Now I only use moisturizer, nothing for acne. I have pretty oily skin, so I really need an oil controlling moisturizer as well as a good firming and wrinkle reducing lotion.

When I moved to Colorado from Oregon in my mid-30s, I was worried about my skin in the dryness and altitude, but we didn't have a lot of money. I went to a talk by an aesthetician who advocated using household items. It worked pretty darn well, IMHO. To exfoliate, I would use sour cream or yogurt with a little bit of baking soda. Witch hazel to tone. Egg white for a firming mask, and then avocado or banana and yogurt for nourishment.

Now I'm lazier so I use Neutrogena deep cleaning cleanser (or something like that) at night followed by PCA Rebalance, then I just splash my face with water in the morning and follow up with PCA Hydrator Plus. Every so often, I put on a papaya enzyme mask from Zia. I had a facial when I was in Santa Fe a couple of weeks ago, and the aesthetician knew immediately that I wasn't from the Southwest. She also said my skin was lovely so that made me feel great. It's always nice to have someone tell you that what you're doing is working.

I buy Apeel Daily from Julie at Perfect Complexion and use it sparingly just once per week at most. Keeps me looking young! :)

I use Mary Kay for Oily Skin.
