What kind of a test was it, Dagmar? If it were me, I'd hope that I did have it so I wouldn't have to worry so much. Glad you are taking such responsibility about it, something very much lacking in so many these days.

The test is a long swab stuck way up the nose and swirled around for 5 seconds. Mildly painful. I'm really hoping the results are negative so I can reassure all my clients and go back to work Monday. I feel fine, have no more symptoms of whatever it was I had, and I'm bored silly. If the test is positive I have to spend next week at home just to be safe. I will do it but I'd rather not.

As we thought the test results are negative and we don't have COVID.

Don't know what I had and whether I'll get DH's stomach bug but I'm planning on going back to work Monday if there are no symptoms of anything.

I am down within my summer weight range, which is 132 - 135 lbs. I weighed in at 134.4 lbs. this morning. :

Glad you tested negative, Dagmar! And "weigh" to go with your scale!

I hope everyone is managing to get through this troubling time.

Down another lb. to a low - 133.4 lbs. - I haven't seen in years. It's partly intentional and partly still an effect of the cold meds I took last week.

I'll take it!

Good for you, Dagmar!

Weird weather, triple digits one day and 70's the next. But like a good scale number, I'll take cool weather any way it comes.

Our weather is so up and down. I keep putting off my first paddleboarding weekend as the lake is still frigid due to the cooler spring and now summer. I think I'll go down to the club this weekend and do some beach clearing to put in some of my volunteer hours. Nice that they are still allowing us to do something since COVID prevents our spring and maybe fall group clean ups and BBQ.

We are going to a restaurant this morning. Time for brunch! It's open with social distancing rules.

How was the brunch under the new rules?

Oh, it was good! There are partitions between the booths, and the tables are distanced. Waitstaff are wearing masks and keeping distance.

I'm glad things are starting to open up, but cautiously. We can't live in a bubble forever.

Sounds great! and I agree that we can't hide in our homes for years. The more quickly people come up with new ways of doing things that respect the virus restrictions the better life will again become!

I rarely go to restaurants so I don't miss it. I'm going to keep wearing a mask in stores and I still avoid Walmart. Probably I'm more cautious than most, but getting COVID would be a BIG deal!

Oh, I still wear a mask in stores. And I wore a mask into the restaurant and took it off only when we were seated. Wore it out again, too.

I think hand washing is more important.
