Howlin' - good to hear you're kicking your treatment's butt! You are truly a model for why it's good to be fit and healthy going into something like that.

Adding in to the troubled pets - Trixie is now wearing a cone on her head and socks taped to both back paws. DH is off buying topical analgesic for the big raw wound Trix scratched on her belly. My groomer friend was able to shave around it so we can apply stuff to it. I'm hoping to head off the $400 vet visit with home care. I think I added to her problems by putting down cedar mulch in the back garden. She loved to lie right in the back on the dirt and I think the mulch really irritated the rash she had developed from the algae in the lake.
SIGH. It was going to be a quiet weekend. Oh well it's quite minor compared to surgery or kidney disease so we will muddle through.
