Do you still actively monitor what you eat with maintenance in mind?
I am curious about this. I have not reached my goal weight.
For those of you who are at your goal weight, do you feel like you are still actively deciding what you eat based on weight and health goals? Do you decide what to eat based on what sounds good today, or do you still have to think about what is the healthy choice to make? Also, how long have you been maintaining at or near goal? |
For me, it's all about choices. Most of the time I make healthy choices and sometimes I don't. I really enjoyed a glass of wine, French fries and cheesy bread at happy hour on Saturday. Do I do that every day or even every Saturday? Nope.

For the most part I choose my meals with maintenance in mind. I try to be flexible though and if my eating goes off course, I get back on track with the next meal.

Absolutely. To me that IS maintenance... making healthy choices and staying within calorie limits but i allow myself a free day a week
