So basically, Krampus, you live in a land where people actually enact the ritual depicted in the initial inspirational photo in this thread.
Says me, grumpy at not getting in my cardio early this morning, before work, because I felt I was behind with my to-do tasks and needed to get online at 7 AM to cross out a few.
I'm so boring with this, I just pick a different TTap DVD to do, four or five mornings a week, right now. Hardly worth noting on the thread. Way to go for the nice strength training, though. You all are inspiring me, even though I likely won't make it to a physical gym for another two or three decades, or whenever my last kid leaves the house
Tuesday and Wednesday I did my Basic Plus Tempo workout, and today I needed something lighter, so I did the MORE Chair workout. Good stuff, but I feel like I've been beaten with several large sticks. That's what I get for slacking off for three months on daily workouts

I will not participate and have not participated, but it's a nice idea.
A good day not to take my kids out downtown Alaskans have a version of this, but it's generally costumes and not speedos, for safety reasons. That said, we also have the Polar Bear Plunge, which is a mid-winter jump into the frozen lake/harbor of choice, depending on the city - for charity of course . I figure if you have to remove an ice chunk to access the water and then keep agitating it to keep a clear spot, it probably not particularly suitable for humans, but what do I know
60 minute Pilates mat class, which I needed, after being away from class for over a week due to being out of town for the holidays
60 minutes elliptical, resistance at nine, random intervals, alternating forward & backward, tough but boring, with me wishing to abandon the machine but keeping going. I'd wanted to run but it was raining and I had too much work at 6 AM to get away from laptop.

Brrr... I can't imagine. I am frozen with my 21 degrees yesterday and 25 today!
December 6: 7 miles running (57:56) - fell SQUARELY on my left knee about 4 miles in after hitting a patch of mud. Bad scape, but it appears my ego took the worst of it
60 minute yoga DVD
30 minutes foam rolling
squat stretches
