I am so glad I'm doing this - I am never sure why I fight it for so long. It's been a little over a week, it feels easy and my clothes are already fitting better. Next week, my awesome black skirt should be zipping comfortably again! I'm going to keep going until my "hot jeans" are comfy again. They are my usual metric for being where I want to be.

It's funny how water weight works. I lose 2lbs a day for two days and I think, oh, it's just the water. Then today I weighed the same as yesterday and was disappointed. As if I could lose 2lbs a day every day.

Oh, me, too Jessica!! I was just reminded that my Costa Rica trip is in LESS THAN 2 WEEKS! Yikes! Do y'all think I can lose 6-7 pounds by the 10th??????

Ok. Gotta REALLY get with it. NO ALCOHOL for the rest of this. I must buckle down. Last night wasn't too bad, but I'm sure the calories were more than what I posted as I ended up drinking about 16 oz clamato juice, which has to be high in calories and sodium. I'll have to go look. No worries, though. I have less than 6 ounces left at home. I think I'll need to stop at the store and buy a couple bottles of Vitamin water zero if I feel the need to drink something other than water (which I often do, and that's why I have a drink or two alcoholic).
