I forgot to weigh...slippery slope!

I couldn't believe it! I got into my car to go to the gym and realized that for the first time since starting this I forgot to weigh!! How did I do that? It's such a part of my routine! And it bothers me!

Lately I've slipped into a rather comfortable zone of just keeping-on and letting the scale do what it will because I'm very comfortable with where I am. I am sort of in maintenance mode while secretly hoping the scale drops 15 more pounds. Part of my plan is to weigh every single day because that way I can never bury my head in the sand again. So it bothers me that I can forget that. Am I becoming too comfortable?

And on the other hand...wow. The scale is truly no longer an obsession of mine. The whole weight loss thing has lost the obsession component. And that's a darn good thing! I remember how it was all I could think about in the beginning...heck, up until maybe a month ago! :dizzy: It has just been so all consuming. Now it's just life and that's a good thing.

But may I never forget!!

I know exactly what you mean!
In the beginning I weighed myself every single saturday morning before breakfast without fail. I've never been a weigh in everyday person, I tried it once and became too upset with natural fluctuations.
About 3 months ago I started weighing myself every other saturday morning.
Lately I'm not so worried about what the scale says, even though I also secretly wish/hope I'm losing a little bit.

I still weigh every day but it's not so stressful if it goes up an ounce or two like it was before LOL!!

I have forgotten occasionally and it's such a weird feeling when I realize I actually forgot to do that.
