) but it only took me 14 weeks to get back. A bit of calorie counting here and there but mainly going with my intuition got me back here. Exercise consisted of a minimum 2 hour stroller walk per day or 2 hour walk with baby sling (16lb baby now!). Can't rest when you have a Spitz breed dog!!! I did go to the gym a couple of times and did about 1-2 workouts per week at home but that was only if the baby slept well during the night (and by "well", I mean only woke 3x!!).
My original goal was 125lbs but I chose 130lbs instead. I'd like to focus on building muscle now. My tummy will probably be jelly for many years as I pulled an abdominal muscle in pregnancy but whatever! No biggie.
Here are my progress pictures. Picture #1 was 163lbs the day before I got induced (I was about 150lbs after delivery). Pictures #2,3,4 are July, August, and September at exactly 1 month intervals (taken on the 14th).
In total, I lost 20lbs after the baby. I'm soooo glad to be back here because staying in maintenance and staying fit is important for my boy!
