Good morning everyone!
Bill, LOL, I don't text, but I do spend time on facebook. I don't really tease my parents about it at all though, although I have been trying to get MIL to take an introductory computer skills class. She can't even manage to turn on the computer by herself and it really makes it very difficult to coordinate anything with her. The rest of the family will be facebooking and emailing plans, and then we're like, oh yeah, we have to call MIL because she never reads her email. That and she's always calling us to ask questions that could be answered in two seconds by using google (which is what we do when she calls). It frustrates me that whenever I suggest she take a class, she is so reluctant to do it and basically refuses.
Then again, she also has a cell phone she never answers (which makes it pretty useless), doesn't know how to check her voicemail, and can never seem to remember to call us on our cell phones instead of our home phone which results in us getting messages hours too late. How do you convince someone like that that they really need to take the time to learn these technologies?
Dagmar, I was reading about your asian grocery experience on last week's thread. Were the frozen things you bought mochi ice cream? I am a big fan of mochi ice cream, but you have to let them defrost for a while before you try to eat them.
DH managed to hurt his knee again. It is getting really frustrating. He keeps getting injured and I can't tell when he actually hurt himself or when it's all in his head. He gets so upset about it that it makes him pretty miserable to be around. His latest thing is that since his knee has hurt for one whole day (it must be the end of the world and will never get better, right?

), he will not be able to do his half marathon training and be ready for the half marathon in 8 weeks. I told him, you can already run 10 miles at a go. You will have no problem running the half marathon. He's like, yeah, but I will be SLOW. I was like, this is your first half marathon. You don't need to be fast, you just need to finish it. Get a baseline, then go faster NEXT time. I wish I could convince him of this but he just doesn't want to hear it.
