fun shopping trip
 

I drug the hubby to the mall last night. He hates mall shopping, but I had a coupon I had to use. We found some clothes for him and then I wanted to go to the womens department so he escaped to the tool section at Sears. I didn't find what I wanted so I went to find him. He ended up finding me and followed me through the womens section at Sears. He was talking with our son while following me. I led him through the mall and came up to the Victoria's Secret store. I've never been inside, I just had no desire to go there while I was overweight. He wasn't paying attention at first and wasn't going to follow me inside and then when he realized which store it was his eyes lit up and OOOO:drool: he followed me in. Needless to say, the phone conversation ended quickly. I had his attention:dizzy: So he sees a cute teddy thing he likes. I look at the tag...eeekkk, $58.00. I don't spend much on things like that, but I just said "Well, you'll have to remember that one and come back if you like it." So we go to Penney's where they were holding some stuff for us and while I'm checking out he just can't stand it, he goes back to get the cute teddy thing. Then while I'm waiting he calls me and says "I'm walking through the mall with this victoria's secret bag, I sure hope I don't run into anyone I know." So funny! Even funnier trying to sneak into the house without our 20 yr old and 14 yr old seeing the huge bag!
Just had to share this great NSV, I didn't buy those kind of nighties for many, many years because of my weight.

I'm sitting here with a huge grin on my face after reading your terrific story! Love it!! Have a wonderful time wearing the teddy (and then not wearing it :o ).

Maybe we should start a thread on the unanticipated benefits of weight loss? :lol3:

One of my weight loss fantasies was shopping at VS and buying undies in colors other than white and fabrics other than cotton!

What a great hubby you have. He should be proud to be seen with a VS bag. It means he has a hot wife and he finds her sexy.

I too have a big grin on my face having just read this post. I am so happy for you. THIS is what they mean when they say nothing tastes as good as being thin feels. It's just the best-est!!

So hubby went from the tool department at Sears to Victoria's Secret. Big turn around! I'm sure you and hubby will enjoy those purchases!!! :smug:

How exciting! I bet that's one purchase he had no problem splurging on...lol
