After a week of being sick I'm sitting at two pounds over my redline... I'm hoping a lot of it is water and constipation from codeine, but don't know yet... gotta get back on track... I can do this!

OK, a new week is upon us! We ARE the MIGHTY MAINTAINERS!

WE CAN DO THIS!

C'mon, gang - we set the curve for everyone else around here. They look at US as the model for success. We CAN stay strong. We CAN stay OP. We CAN be the leaders and success stories that motivate everyone else.

We WILL be part of the 5% stat of those that MAINTAIN their weight loss.
We WILL stay focused and refuse to accept ANYTHING other than excellence!!!!

Ok, ok. My weekend was inactive. Eating was... not OP. I had 3 1/2 glasses of wine Friday night! (the NOP eating wasn't due to the booze, though, I can't blame it).

The only good thing I can say is that my body did need a good rest day from the last 1 1/2 weeks of workouts. Maybe not 3 rest days, but 1-2 were needed. I'm starting the week back home, right back OP with food & exercise. Also I've decided after seeing Halloween candy everywhere already that I just won't be eating any this year!

Countingdown, you're totally right. We can do this!!! Let's make it a great week everyone.

Monday, a good day to be POP. after a Sunday that was too rewarding of the party night weight control--- multiple b.l.t.s and non ideal choices.

I had a pretty good weekend but was up Monday morning from Sunday morning. Sometimes I think it's due to the time of day of my weigh-in. On the weekends I'll sleep in until 6 or even 7 AM yet on Monday morning I'm up at 4:30 to do my exercising. Could that amount of time result in 1.5 pounds? Who knows, but I'm still hovering at the same weight I was when I left (and returned) from Italy.

I had a good last week and a not-so-terrible weekend, so am flat weight-wise. I may not have made a lot headway, but at least I stopped the gaining part. This week I'm going to make a concerted effort to increase the calorie burn (extra workouts) and see if I can't make some progress.

I am also going to PLAN out every day's menu ahead of time, instead of making it up as I go along. Hopefully that will help me keep from getting derailed!

My scale is up, but we have a) flying weight, b) cupcake weight (but I was MODERATE, for me, when it comes to cupcakes, and they were on the list so they were worth it), c) sodium weight from Pho yesterday, d) TOM weight, and e) vicodin weight because my shoulder has been killing me. I am giving myself a few days for it to calm down, but jumping right back on today, obviously.

This weekend was, considering the travel, actually pretty good. Even when I got STARVING and had only a diner in which to eat (we landed late, nothing else was open), Sarah and I split a sandwich, and each got a side salad. Even when I was uncomfortable with Sarah's fam, I stuck to water and avoided the alcohol. And other than the cupcakes, I stayed off of the sweets.

Clothes are starting to feel pretty good again - we went shopping for Greece/Paris and I was buying things that fit comfortably in my normal sizes. Got some great bargains and am now ready to travel (except I need current converter thingies, and possibly a phone).

Amanda~what cities in Greece are you planning to go to? How long will you be there? And as for travel gadgets, try Magellan's.

Same weight this morning: 132. For a second it flickered to 133 but thankfully didn't stay there.

Monday is indeed a good day to be POP! I'm a little worried because TOM is knocking on my door but I can beat him.

Let's do this!

Right now, we're 3 days in Paris, 3 days in Crete, and 4 days in Santorini.

I'm envious, Amanda!!! DH and I are looking at a cruise which would take us from Barcelona, to Monte Carlo, a few places in Italy, two or three stops in Greece and then Croatia and end up in Venice. It all looks good until you check the price tag!! We might end up going to Mexico, lol!
