Alrighty. I'm going to get off this food trainwreck train, darn it!

I feel kind of crappy today, though - woke up feeling like I'm getting sick. Still, new exercise videos come today, so...

B - English muffin pizza
S - Greek Yogurt
L - Tuna on English Muffin or High Fiber Crackers
S - Popcorn
D - Sort of an experiment, but I'm going to make an Asian-style shrimp soup. Shrimp, chicken broth, scallion, carrot, bok choy, maybe some celery, and some sesame oil. I was thinking about adding rice but I don't think it needs any.
S - NSA Ice Cream Bar

E - If I start not feeling like I got ran over by a truck, all of my boot camp/cross training cardio/strength DVDs are coming today...a little Jillian, a little Jackie Warner, and maybe even some power yoga!

Stayed pretty good on plan yesterday.

B - cinnamon roll (homemade and not the best choice, but I'm fitting it in my calorie count - and it's the last of them) and tangelo
L - steamed chicken and broccoli
D - cabbage, peas, chicken breast, salad

S - tangelo, hot chocolate, laughing cow cheese wedge and tortilla

I remember reading that entry, too. Do you get it at Trader Joe's?

We have no Trader Joe's here in Florida (I desperately wish we did). I buy it at the regular grocery store (Publix) in their "Greenwise" section.

Amanda - a soup similar to your description got me through weight loss many days. I used chicken but otherwise the same ingredients. The one or two drops of sesame oil really make it yummy! Enjoy.

Oh, my, wish my grocery carried curry!

I got all kinds of delicious veggies for my soup at the store...bean sprouts, snowpeas, napa cabbage, carrots...oh, I'm REALLY looking forward to it. Mmmm.

I got my heart rate monitor today!!! And all of my DVDs. Apparently I burn 500 calories an hour doing intervals on my step outside. Good to know! Off to try more experimenting now.

Not doing too well here. Yesterday was the annual birthday celebration for DS (12/25), FIL (1/1) and DH (1/4).

B~egg mcmuffin (homemade w/egg whites)
L~lobster quesadilla, red wine (2)
D~steak, twice baked potato, salad, more red wine (2), lemon cookies (2)

today:
B~grapefruit
L~leftover cheesy potatoes and baked beans
D~leftover ham with eggs, fruit and hash browns, perhaps toast.

But I've made my plan and have tons of fresh vegetables to have for dinner next week. DH and I have both pledged to lose weight.

Catching up as well...

Yesterday - stayed on plan with food, did have a Reese's tree late in the day, but had enough calories for it so didn't kill me. I didn't do much exercise - 35 minutes of yoga. My legs were still sore from Tuesday's running - I don't think I injured myself, I think it was just overexertion without stretching. They are fine today.

Today:
Exercise: 30 min elliptical, done. Might get in something else tonight as we now don't get DS until tomorrow morning instead of tonight.
B: Smoothie
s: Skinny cinnamon dolce latte from Starbucks
S: string cheese
L: Grilled chicken sandwich
S: might not have one, just ate lunch
D: I'm going to try to make some healthy flatbread pizza
S: who know, could be another Reese's tree

Amanda - I got a new HRM for Christmas, too - it is neat seeing the calories burned isn't it! Hope you feel better!

Jo: They sell that curry in the Greenwise section at my Publix, too, but I haven't tried it. I have had TJ curry and it was yummy.

I went this afternoon and bought my new running shoes, so I'm looking forward to trying them out when the rain stops!
