I encountered an enemy last night, DF brought home fudge from work. I had two pieces. I tracked it accordingly, hit my WPA (WW's).

Today:

B Egg whites, banana, coffee (this one repeats a lot, its easy with two kids and my toddler loves boiled eggs).
L Tuna sandwiches with petite pickles and apple slices.
D Left over slumgoulian from dinner.
S Cheese and popcorn.

Exercise: Some DVD, not sure which yet, at least 30 minutes.

Mom decided last night to bring half of my family for dinner. She brought spaghetti and meatballs for me to cook, so it worked out. I did have a glass of wine.

I am not doing well maintaining and need to the scale back under the red line, STAT. I do not care for this "4 lbs over the red" business. Then again, last Christmas I was 10 lbs over the red by the end of it. Maybe next year I'll actually stay at or below it??

B - English muffin pizza
L - Wasa crispbreads w/ tuna, 2% cheddar, pickles
S - Popcorn
S - Greek Yogurt
D - Giant salad that we had planned for last night
S - NSA Ice Cream Bar

E - 60 min elliptical, raking

Ah, how is it that food refuses to be denied? Yesterday was perfect until dinner, and lets just say that it got worse from there. Dusting off, moving on.

B - oatmeal, walnuts, craisins, skim milk, ww toast
S - ff latte
L - ? ( sandwich sitting on the kitchen counter )
S - apple, cheese (these are here because I brought enough for all week yesterday)
D - the end of the seafood I made Christmas Eve - who knew I made so much? rice, broccoli

OP so far today, I have a little empty space in front of me all of a sudden and have the urge to try a run, so I'm going to go to the track and see how long I can make it. I'm figuring about 8 minutes. Hopefully, longer than the drive there and back.

Amanda, last year I was 7lbs over my red line at the end of xmas, this year I'm 10lbs over. Ugh! My number one new year's resolution is to get back under that red line, preferably back to my real comfort zone, which is now 15lbs away!

I'm right up there with you. :sigh: Last year I was 147. This year? 155 as of today. I thought I was doing ok until yesterday's weigh-in at 156. And then I thought it HAD to be water weight. I guess not as some of it is still sticking around.

So I'm in need of a 15-20 pound loss right now.

And we call ourselves maintainers. Ugh. Yeah, I know, I am maintaining a 17 pound loss at this point, but still.

I am still not convinced that some of it isn't water. But I'm beating myself up (which is making me pretty intolerable, actually, to my wife, who keeps threatening to pull out the fat pictures and show me "what fat really looks like").

My plan is to work on fitness and muscle in 2009, which will hopefully resolve the weight stuff on its own. I'm looking at 9 lbs away from my "goal" weight right now, which isn't that bad, but still, 9 lbs. Though I get some consolation in that my bf% went down a bit over the year. Still, though, we are going to have to band together to get back under that line!

Yeah, I try to comfort myself that even if I'm up 15 lbs from goal, I'm still maintaining a 40lb loss. Except that I'm obviously not "maintaining" anything, since my weight is creeping up!

It is more of a comfort that my fitness and general health have drastically improved since the beginning of the year, thanks to thyroid meds. I've been focusing on fitness, but apparently training for a triathlon has yet to lead to any weight loss and has instead led to weight GAIN. Ugh.

Yesterday was almost 100% on plan. Not sure what's going to happen for my exercise today -- I'm supposed to do a 2.75-mile run, but my inner thighs are sore from doing squats with Gilad last night.

Wednesday:
B - muesli, milk
S - pear
L - lean cuisine sesame chicken
S - hamburger bun, yogurt
D - 1C pasta, sauce, parmesan
S (at party) - three glasses champagne, two tiny cups of punch, one crescent roll-wrapped hot dog (I made them with 97% ff hot dogs at least), 2 slices orange coconut bread, two bacon-wrapped shrimp, one filo "quiche", one puff pastry with hibiscus flower, one puff pastry with mushroom and feta, one chocolate chip cookie
Total - ? too much though.
Exercise - none

Yesterday stayed on calorie plan, had a small amount of chocolate in place of my planned peanut butter graham cracker evening snack. I also walked one mile and then ran one, so I was pretty pleased with that.

Today's plan:
B: Smoothie, sleigh ride flavored coffee (1tsp raw sugar, 1 tbsp ff van creamer)
S: string cheese, tangelo
L: grilled chicken sandwich no mayo
S: apple
S: Kashi Go Lean
D: probably salad from CFA - DSS tonight so fast food...
S: who knows, hopefully something not terrible for me.

Exercise: today is an off day from exercise I believe. Depends on time later.

Sorry to hear that I'm not the only one who has not been maintaining, but gaining. God, I hope some of this is water weight, but until I can really get my eating under control again, I'll never know!

Breakfast - waffles, turkey bacon, 1/4 banana, sugar free syrup t. peanut butter
snack - tangelo
lunch - leftovers - chicken with black bean and corn casserole, green beans
snack - tangelo
dinner - not sure yet, may be going out, but am committing here that I will order something I know is lower calorie.
snack - hot chocolate

Exercise - I have a 45 min wait this afternoon between the time I get off work and the time I have to take my car in for an oil change. I have my walking shoes with me and will go to the park and walk while I wait.

Lots of water today, and committing to logging it all in Fitday.

Uhhh, I'm so aggravated at myself right now!!!
