I'm New

I have been dieting for over 2 years I am 5'10" started at 288 lbs now at 208 lbs have went from a size 3x to a 16 or 18 depending on cut of clothes. so I been stuck at this weight for about 6 months the scale wont seem to budge. I just started working out because I have health issues asthma and RA. I have 2 goal weights my first goal is 165lbs my second is 135 lbs. I don't want any magic weight loss fixes I just want to lose it slow so I keep it off. I gained a lot of my weight from taking steriods from my health conditions that I from time to time have to go back on. I was on them daily for 3 years and now this is the price I pay. I am currently doing a 1200 calorie diabetic diet. thanks for listening dawnn

Welcome to 3FC!! Congrats on 80 pounds gone!! Quite an achievement!!

I think adding exercise is an excellent idea - take it easy at first..maybe start with just walking like 15 minutes a day and work up to more time...

1200 calories is a bare minimum for most people - you might want to try going over that a little some days - just to keep your body guessing.
