HAHA! Oh god I feel so bad from your dog - but you have a great style of writing, which made the whole thing especially hilarious.. thankyou for that!

On another note - I remember my fox terrier ate one of my posters once... the poor thing was laying there for hours afterwards. (The dog, not my poster)

I grew up with a sneaky German Shepard. One Easter, my Dad left church while we were in Sunday School to hide the eggs. He snuck out, hid 24 eggs for my brother and I in the backyard, and then hurried back before we could figure out that he'd left.
When my brother and I got home, we rushed out back with our baskets to go on a hunt. Lady didn't get up to greet us, she stayed in her doghouse. We hunted for a while, and then a while longer, and then checked the doghouse to see if there were any there.
Lady had 23 plastic eggs broken in the corner, 23 candy wrappers in the other corner, and a less than thrilled look on her face.
The best part was that she had unwrapped all of the candy before she ate it. Well, that, and that I found the one egg she hadn't come across. It was in the treehouse.

My co-workers were looking at me like I have finally lost the plot completely and I'm sure they were contemplating calling for the nice men in the white coats....:crazy:

that was so funny. i have a friend who has a rescue basset hound and when this dog gets it in her head to hold a grudge she really holds one. one day a fresh pan of brownies on the stove to cool she went to the store and when she came home they where gone. i wounder who got to them. this dog also likes coffee beans too.

this same friend also had a begal basset mix at one point i time and this dog enjoyed 1 pound of fudge -celefon wrapper and all- that she had gotten for christmas
