Default The Hillbilly Vasectomy

After their 11th child, a couple decided that was enough, as they could not afford a larger bed.

So the husband went to his veterinarian and told him that he and his cousin didn't want to have any more children.

The doctor told him that there was a procedure called a vasectomy that could fix the problem but that it was expensive. "A less costly alternative," said the doctor, "is to go home, get a cherry bomb, (fireworks are legal in their area) light it, put it in a beer can, then hold the can up to your ear and count to 10."

The husband said to the doctor, "I may not be the smartest tool in the shed, but I don't see how putting a cherry bomb in a beer can next to my ear is going to help me."

"Trust me," said the doctor.

So the man went home, lit a cherry bomb and put it in a beer can. He held the can up to his ear and began to count!

"1"
"2"
"3"
"4"
"5"

( you'll love this...)

At which point he paused, placed the beer can between his legs and continued counting on his other hand.

Default It is offensive.

I never post, just read. While we're making sweeping assumptions I guess all people from Ca are fat and offensive.

Wow, although I am from Ohio and currently live in Kentucky, I find that idiots can live anywhere in the country. But for some reason narrow minded people tend to think the south has more of them. Oh, well It's just a joke.

I think that was kinda mean. It's just a joke. I live in Missouri, my state's on the list, I'm not offended at all. It's just a joke. This is the Lighten Up! forum, right?

Was MadAnne's response mean, or was it funny? That's pretty much the trouble with stereotype humor, it often depends on your perspective.

I saw no mention of any particular state, just "hills", as in "hill"billy. Now, I am a WEST VIRGINIAN, a HILLBILLY, truly. And I find no offense at all. It's a joke. You either find it funny or you don't. But I really don't get the offensive part. I make jokes about hillbillies all the time myself, and I AM one. Sometimes you just gotta find the humor in life. JMHO anyway.

It had actual states mentioned before - I edited it. The people who were offended had a valid point - I really should think before I post sometimes. (I have the same foot in mouth disease in real life as well.)

Good one, Gina! I didn't see it before you deleted the states, but I wanted to add my state to the list in case it wasn't there Hey, every state has their hillbillies or the equivalent.
