I wont miss the sound of my thighs rubbing together, feeling like my butt was 3/4 of my person or feeling like my "mommy muscle" is always on display.

I won't miss shopping only in the "bigger women's stores" and wondering what others think when they see the bag I am carrying
I won't miss being scared of embarrassing my kids when their friends come over to meet me
I won't miss feeling like I am being judged by my outside instead of abilities when at a job interview
I won't miss having a butt bigger than my husband's, lol
I won't miss having to explain to my daughter why I feel self-conscious and dress differently when other people are at our house
I won't miss worrying my bummy is invading into someone else's "space" when seated at a NBA game (always so worried about that)
I won't miss the lack of confidence, the lack of security with who I am, or the feeling of inferiority to others (amazing how looks can impact your own view of yourself)

I won't miss being the largest person in the room.
I won't miss being the largest person in my family.
I won't miss buying everything in XL/L.
I won't miss feeling ugly when at the beach.
But mostly I won't miss my kids growing up, and that's why I am here!!!!!

I won't miss being mixed up with "the other fat chick". You know the one, she is a different size and wears her hair completely different.

I won't miss feeling self-conscious when people(mainly guys) look at me or when I get a compliment.
I won't miss feeling self-conscious naked in front of someone or even alone.
I won't miss being picky when shopping because the clothes I actually like look terrible on me.

I won't miss avoiding my kids' school because I don't want them to get picked on for having the "fat mom."
I won't miss avoiding gatherings of all of my old and dear college friends/peers because I don't want them to see what happened to me!
I won't miss getting so big and so depressed that I stopped carrying a purse, wearing makeup and doing my hair.
And 5 million others!

I am so thankful for finally somehow turning it around! :)

I'm not done, but this is an "after" kind of thing ...

I don't miss my lack of energy. At all.

I also don't miss hiding behind my husband in pictures.
