back on the wagon with a Protein question

Hey everyone,

So, after a hard fall, I'm getting back on track. I was doing so well then I lost someone very dear to me and everything went out the window. But now, I have no more time to waste. Halloween (my favorite holiday) and my birthday (which is thanksgiving) are around the corner and I want to feel and look cute.

I'm heading to the gorcery store and have a few questions.

I know that we can use lean cuisines as a protein and a starch. However, I noticed Lean Gormets are considerably cheaper. Has anyone used them and would you count them the same way?

Also, since I always stock up on tuna, I noticed they have tuna filets (sp?) in a pouch. I tried one of them and it was pretty darn tasty! Anyone else try them? If so, do you count them as more than 1 protein?

And while I'm on a roll here, I'm considering trying take off with oranges and unlimited protein and greens. How effective is this? I know you can buy the juice or use cantelopes but I think both are icky.

Sorry for bombarding you guys with questions but I've always admired how wonderfully supportive everyone is. So, that said, many thanks in advance!!

Eryca- Kristi just about summed it up. I prefer doing the TO with oranges instead of juice or cantalope. I'm doing TO right now and am using the knudsens juice because paying $2 per lb. for oranges makes me cringe.

I haven't tried the tuna fillets, but I really like the flavored tuna in a pouch, I can eat it plain without adding any mayo to it.

Thanks to both of you! :D

what do you mean TO with oranges????

:carrot: love this carrot!!!! TO with oranges or canteloupe????

BC- You can do TO with 1/2 canteloupe per day, 1/8 canteloupe 4 times a day. Oranges are 1 orange 4 times a day. You could also use the hollywood 48 hour juice or knudsen's morning blend juice. Katie did it with watermelon and had good success with it. I wonder if it could be done with strawberries? I could eat strawberries all day. Definitely enough fiber there. The fruit makes me fill fuller longer and doesn't make is so unbearable. IMO
