I asked at my weight in about the shakes. She said they could be used in place of the bars. I was thinking of getting an other product to save some money. Slimfast replaces meals. I thought I read some used them for plan shakes. Aren't they too much calories and protein to replace bars?

You're talking about 2 different things:

You can use the high protein Slimfast shakes to replace the LAWL Slimdowns-which are meal replacement shakes.

The shakes your counselor is talking about are considered LA lites. They are powder shakes that are actually less calories than the bars (I think the protein is the same.) LA lites can be bars, shakes, or soups. I think that's it. Most people just use the bars though.

I don't know of an equivalent substitution for the LA lite shakes. Anyone?

Juliemarie is right - in addition to bars, shakes and soups, there is also a drink mix that only has 60 cals but it tough for some of us to swallow...

I hate the bars so I use the la lite lemonade, the berry drink and my favorite is the La lite hot chocolate with a tabelspoon of ff cool whip. They all are ok for replacing the bars. Thats what I was told. Just my 2 cents worth.
