I will stay POP because I strayed slightly last night--but not as bad as I could have. I am hoping the brisket is my gain and that it's temporary! I refuse to change my ticker just yet.

I am joining back in... After a 3 mth hiatus and gaining all my weight back . Darn that trip to DisneyLand.
I will be on plan because I want my actual weight to be my ticker weight in a couple of weeks.
Hello All!!! I'm new to LAWL!! I need help I'm on the red plan 2 1/2 protein, 4 veg, 3 fruits, 3 starches, 1 dairy, 1 fat, 2 la lites...I started on 8OCT. I gained 1lb the first day, second day they told me it was because of the fast forward drink. (it did make me feel swollen) Then by 11OCT I lost 4lbs, now today Friday 13OCT im back where I started from. I DID NOT CHEAT. I FOLLOWED THE PLAN!!! I weigh 255lb 5'7" 1/2in tall. I told them that I don't eat that much. My problem is that I forget to eat. I use to eat a bowl of granola cereal in the mornings forget to eat all day..I don't snack..and of course evening its fast food. Being a single mom, work, my school, son's school and karate... I don't have time to eat. Did they start me on too much food? Need help!!! Anyone??
Tomorrow is a brand new day full of new choices and I will choose to eat the right way because I like how I feel. Ate pie today and feel sluggish and weak. I joined LAWL to be more healthy and to look good in a swimsuit. I also am tired of kids telling my students that they have a fat teacher. I want to buy regular clothes,(better looking and less expensive), not Plus size clothes.

The thing about not eating is that your body holds on to what you eat because it thinks you are going to starve it. I noticed that when I started LAWL I thought it was a lot of food too, but when I ate as outlined in the plan the weight came off. I know that it is difficult with a busy life, it requires more planning (something I hate), more time (who ever has enough of it) and stepping out of our comfort zones( who likes to do that). Someone once said to me that if you do the same things you've always done, you will get the same results. So I decided that I needed to make some changes in my life because I wasn't happy with the results. It does take some getting used to... Use the foods that you enjoy from the list...Don't get discouraged it is only your first week YOU CAN DO IT!!!!
catseye.....I am on red also....in the beginning I did not lose much in the TO..what kind of fast food are you having???might be high in salt content+++???? nance
catseye--they didn't start you on too much food--it's just hte right kind of food. You will have to make time to eat--that's a priority in losing. At this point not eating enough of the right foods is almost as bad as eating too much of the wrong foods. Check out the Daily Menu Thread for some ideas on how to break up your food until you get the hang of it.
I will stay POP today because my roller coaster body dipped back to 159.4 this AM--it just loves to tease me! Not fair to be up on WI day but that's life. I want to be at goal by Christmas.
I too was/am sick of being fat, shopping for clothes in the 16+ range. I love it when people come up to me & tell me I look good & when the heads turn.
I have been, and will continue to be POP today partly because I blew it sooo badly yesterday. I need to come up with something to do when I am super emotional instead of eating crap.
