Help with set up.
 

I went to the User CP to get my tracker, photo, etc. set up but I'm lost! Do I have to cut and paste? Where do I paste to? I've tried three times with no luck. Thanks for the help.

Hi Debbie,
After you click on User CP, on the left hand side of the screen you will click on edit avatar. You can choose one of 3FC avatars or if you want to upload your own pic, go all the way to the bottom and click on use custom avatar. Then browse to find it on your puter. Just make sure that the size fits within what they want. Click save changes and you are done.

As far as your siggy, on the left hand side again, click on edit signature. If you click on the ticker at the top of the page, it will take you to the 3FC tickers. You can also click on anybody's ticker to get there. I use tickerfactory.com because they are broke down into 10ths of a lb.

After you are taken to the new website fill out the information, pick out your background and slider for your ticker. Then copy and paste the correct formula into your 3FC signature box. Click on preview to see if you like the way it looks and when you do then click save and you are done.

Okay, Deb, I'm not sure if this worked - I can't tell until I send this back to you.

The only part I still had a problem with, (I think), was copying and pasting the formula into my 3FC signature box. Where is that box? Sorry to be such a pain.

Also, my photo didn't show up. I just tried to do it again, let's see......

Oh..... and my ticker didn't show up.

Clearly I was absent the day they handed out the computer gene. I'll get one of my kids to help if I'm still lost tomorrow. Thanks for the help, though, Deb.

the box that you need to copy for your signature is usually the first set of figures below the sample picture of your ticker, then paste into the signature box. I usually have both pages open and just minimize the one that I'm not using. If you click preview, it will show you what it will look like, when you are happy with it, then click the save button below the signature box. It is kind of confusing the first time. I think there are instructions somewhere on the forum and I printed them out and followed them that way the first time. As far as the picture, make sure you have it the size they want, that may be why it's not showing up.
