questions about lemon water

Hi,
I was wondering on the lemon water. Do you drink it hot or cold?
Do you use fresh lemons or can you use bottled lemon juice?
Does this really work? Please let me know. I am stuck and I can't get with the program.
Thanks,

Hi there,
I'm not actually on LAWL currently but tried it a few years back. I drank the lemon water warm - almost like a lemon tea but without the tea bag. It's supposed to help keep you "regular" and they also pronounce that it will help your weight loss (an increase in water intake does help weight loss, so that's probably where they get this from). I actually found the lemon water did help to keep me regular. After awhile I even kind of enjoyed it, just like I would any tea. When I was there they said the lemon-water should be drank warm to have the best effect. This could have changed though.

The program was tough for me too. I found it really restrictive and I felt starved. However, the results were awesome! I am wishing now that I would have stuck with it longer....I have found something new that I think is working better for me though.

Good luck to you!!

Lemon water is a natural diuretic, it's very effective for constipation and is recommended with LAWL. It should be fresh lemon juice as opposed to bottle and hot water. 1 tablespoon should do the trick.;)

The lemon water also helps draw the extra sodium out of your body. If you feel you are retaining water then drink a cup of hot lemon water. You can use either fresh or bottled. I use the bottled and just squirt to taste and I get the same results as the fresh. At first I thought it was nasty, but now I actually like the taste of it.
