Emotional Eating

  • Here is something that Bob from BL said about it:

    "One of the main things you gotta do is find a way to be proactive in your life. Don't let your emotions get the best of you, don't let the food get the best of you. Try to find a way to balance it out. That's what life is...When you feel that emotion come up, if you just make yourself aware of it and go, "Oh, wait, there's that pattern of mine right there." If you just make yourself aware of it...It just takes time to get your brain going with that kind of thinking. And it works. Stop. Stop for a moment, think. Don't react."

    I thought this advice was very useful, and wanted to share.
  • Very cool. And applies to other stuff besides food hat I see in other life patterns, too.
