Replacement for the shakes?
 

Good day to you all! Happy St. Patty's Day!! Just got a quick ? about the slim down shakes. Has anyone found a replacement for these? I know we had the lunas for the lites so I thought maybe someone had figured out something for the slim downs. Thanks!

Yes, the Slim Fast Optima High Protein is almost identical EXCEPT, it has 15g protein as opposed to 20 for the LAWL...so its a little less calories. Tastes the same, fills you the same and has the same fat and sodium.

I dont guess the 5g a protein makes too much difference. If it was more cal or fat or something that would.

How do you count the shakes?

According to my red plan, 1 protein, 1 starch...Suzette

Gold counts them the same as red.

So far I've only had the chocolate and it's good, does anyone know how the rest taste?

I bought the slim fast shakes this weekend.1 4 pack chocolate and 1 vanilla. I havent had them yet but I will in a few days. I had the regular slim fast shakes a long time ago and if I can remember correctly they were could just didnt fill me up. But now that I eat alot less I think they will fill me up. The LAWL ones do. Thanks Deets for the info. I did notice they are short on calories . do you think that will hurt? I think I am goign to use them when I eat higher fat POP foods so then the less cal from the slim fast shakes wont make a difference.

I love the vanilla slim down shakes. They taste like melted ice cream. I didn't care for the strawberry too much. I just tasted like fake strawberry. But, if you are a strawberry Nesquik sort of person, you would probably like it.
