do you always stick to the lighter starches...try some heavier ones and see if that helps
Also try not to have starches to late at night. I would say try a heavy breakfast (P and S at least and get a lighter dinner in maybe just the salad) When we eat the same things over and over our bodies start to get use to it and to get the WL going again we need to "surprise" our bodies. have beef and rice for breakfast one day (maybe a later Saturday breakfast if that is too much for you at 6 in the morning) Also try to vary your calories (meaning some light days, soem heavy days) |
They didn't say anything when I said I want to be around 115. So I assumed it was OK. They don't really seem to care about me one way or the other. It was long as long as they got their money from me, that's all they cared about.

Laura, I was stalled recently and my center suggested these changes:
Dairy- No cheese or yogurt Fruit- No bananas or oranges Veggies-No lettuce, mostly dark green stuff Protein- No red meat Starches- Whole grains I have been trying to do this, I do however, still do cheese as a protein, and I still eat bananas because this diet makes groceries expensive, and I cannot afford berries 3 times a day! |
Is there another center nearby that you could go to? Id call the 1-800 number on the products....

see now they told me to eat unlimited yogurt, unlimited chicken, turkey or egg beaters, unlimited light bread or low fat saltines, and at least one citrus fruit and green veggie a day, so that is what i have been doing. this is too confusing for me. and expensive.

soory you are having such a har time laura, maybe you should try another center if possible, i have never heard of soemone being given unlimited foods on a daily basis either, so I am confused too. Call the 1-800 number

No, no, the food isn't unlimited on a daily basis, they just told me that per week i could eat all chicken, yogurt, egg beaters, etc. every day instead of beef, pork, cheese or milk. That those were the best choices.

ok, that's sounds better. And i think that is proabably why we were all saying that trying some new choices would help you by shaking things up with your body. It does hlep to have the lighter choices like you are doing and :bravo: to you for being able to stick to it, but in order to keep your WL going and your metabolism you need to shake things up some.

I agree you need to add a little variety to your food choices. I try to at least have beef or pork twice a week this way i dont get bored with food choices and neither does my body. I would say try adding in some different types of protein, dairy and starches for about a week and see if there is any change. If not then i would certainly call the 1-800 number they are they for you ( we sure pay them enough to be lol).

LAWL didnt work for me either..it SUCKED because i feel like i was letting everyone down..i still go there frequently..but i havent given up:(:)
