Hi! I'm new here!
 

Just wanted to introduce myself. I am Monica from IL, and I am the almost 38 yr old SAHM to Sophie (8) and Katie (5) and wife of 12yrs to firefighter hubby Dave.

I started LAWL the last week of October, but after just over a week had to put my membership on hold due to my SIL's untimely death, followed immediately by our Disney Vacation and Thanksgiving. Needless to say, I gained back most of the 5.5lbs that I lost in the first 10 days on plan.

But I am back, as of today, and moving forward. I am 199lbs and want to get to 165 (probably 155-160 eventually). I've done every diet out there (WW, South Beach, Atkins etc. etc.) and never gone below 170 so we'll see. I'm cautiously optomistic.

I am on purple until I lose 3 lbs and then I'm back on gold (which is strange because I was a pound heavier the first time around and was put immediately on gold at that time :shrug: ). Right now I am doing bars and supplements - we'll see how they work. I figured I'd give them a try before I used other brands or none at all. Give the plan my "all" so to speak.

So that's me. I look forward to getting to know you all better.
