My first week on LAWL
I I am a newbie to this site. I just started LAWL last week. I am 158 and want to be 117. I did the 2-day drink thing, lost 2 pounds, and next visit, had gained it back! I go today to get weighed. It's been 4 days. I am worried that I didn't lose anything because I realized the salad dressing I used was 250g of sodium. I am afraid I am going to fail at this and it will be a waste of my $1500.

is the 250 for two tablespoons...most serving sizes are 2 tablepoons. And LAWL wants up to have less than 175 per tablespoon. But it you did have the wrong dressing, it shouldn't kill you. Just extra water weight, so I would drink some extra water and maybe soem warm lemon water to get that out. But if you were perfectly on plan other than the salad dressing, you should be fine. Are you on gold? come over to the monthly thread and meet every one else. |
Laura - it's too early to be so discouraged! Im sure that the salad dressing you picked is okay - Shennie is right, the nutrition info is for two tablespoons, not one - so it seems that the one you picked is okay.
However, when I started last year, it was recommended that certain foods be avoided just after TO - esp things like salmon because it's higher in sodium. Did your counselors make any recommendations about what you listed in your diary? Julie |
Hi! Yes I am on the gold plan. Everything in my diary looks great according to the counselors. I am down 2.4 pounds! I can't believe it. I am really trying at this and I am really excited! Shennie you were right about the dressing, the sodium was 250mg for 2 tablespoons so I am OK and she also recommended that I drink the warm lemon water if I am worried.
