My first accidental slip up:(

  • Any of you veterans know what effect eating one extra starch will have? I goofed yesterday and had one extra and am kicking myself for it Im on the blue plan and am supposed to have 3...I also missed one vegetable..Ive had a high fever and really just didnt fill in my journal correctly. I drank 8 16L Poland Springs thoughout the day hoping it would help...is this a huge indescretion?
  • Thats actually my normal water intake a lot of days. I definitely dont intend to "cheat", I totally didnt fill my book in right Oh well!
  • From someone who has "purposely-mistakenly" cheated on starches (I often overfill my cup with the 1/3c of pasta and if there is a little rice left over in the pot, might as well not let it go to waste...I know I am terrible )

    I doubt you will see much of a problem. think about Carb cravers, if you did your 3 starches, plus had one of them you would end up with 4 carbs and that is legal. (although you sacrifice protein calories for that) As long as you had an accurate portion you should be fine, and like Mary said, you ate, it's over, let go of the guilt, beacuase thankfully, your body fogives your mess-ups, and my "on purposes" and lets us start fresh again the next day. and wow, great job on gettin gall of that water in. I am trying to get a daily 6-16L and I rarely make that goal
  • Have to agree with the other chicks -an extra 80-100 cals once in a lifetime of being POP ain't gonna hurt you -- you've probably burned it off with the guilt-tension!
