Now its off to the COD for this weeks weigh-in I am hoping to bump the weight loss up a little. I have decided to reward myself for every 25 lbs lost. The first twenty-five I got a perm. The next I think Im gonna get some nails! LOL :chin: :crossed: :goodscale

Beanie - Way to go Girl!!! I'll be your :drill: It comes natural for me

mrsbeanie 10-14-2005 10:32 AM

Star - when do we start? :fr: :ebike: I KNOW you could teach me a thing or two! :D

Star 10-14-2005 10:46 AM

Beanie - Do you have a workout schedule now?
This is mine:
Gym - 5 times a week: 3 days cardio (1 hr) 2 days weights (1 hr)
Jazzercise - 3 nights a week - one hour....

Tell me what you do and how much time you have?

Star 10-14-2005 10:55 AM

Well it sounds like you are doing good....there is nothing better than doing cardio and weights (light).....What kind of machine does your sister have. You could use your husbands hand weights and barbells....great workout! Before we downsized and sold our house I did all my woking out at home, with handweights and barbells with bench. Also have treadmill, recumbent bike and tapes.....
I have been working on my arms for a year and a half and finally they look good....The hard work does pay off.....However it is more apparent with the weight loss....

mrsbeanie 10-14-2005 10:57 AM

I don't know what kind of machine it is.. It has the stations like the overhead pull down bar, the leg lift one, and I think the one that you squeeze your legs or arms...and you can adjust the amount of weight by moving the pin

Star 10-14-2005 11:02 AM

Is it big and takes up quite abit of room? If it's what I'm thinking those are great machines, you can do many body parts on them.....I would just go over there and play around with it....all the gyms use (and still do) have them....

mrsbeanie 10-14-2005 11:03 AM

yeah thats the one...I told her i would like to try it...thanks for the encouragement

mrsbeanie 10-14-2005 11:04 AM

What would be great is if Curves and LAWL hooked up and we could go there for free! LOL

Star 10-14-2005 11:15 AM

Beanie - It sounds like, if you get working out at your rate and keep pushing you would be too advanced for Curves anyhow....JMHO

mrsbeanie 10-16-2005 02:32 PM

well walked the 1+ mile with husband yesterday...he really pushes me we did it in 23 minutes!

We will go again later today!

Star 10-17-2005 09:25 AM

mrs beanie - You did better than me.....I had grandbabies all weekend and am exhausted today - I need a couple more days off....lol
Will go to Jazzercise tonight.......
Also would like to comment on DH involvement - I love that!!! I wish my DH would like exercise more, it just makes it so much better when you do it together... MY DH went to the doctor last week, had to weigh, came home and had a pout on his cute little face and said "Honey Bubby, I'm fat" I looked at him with a smile and said "Oh really?" Only becuz I'm always the one on a eating plan and workout plan, always begging him to join me.... ;)

Hey fit chicks....it's been a while, but i'm back on track. I allowed some out of town guests to give me an excuse to fall completely off the wagon (plan wise and exercise wise)...but my lapse will not become a relapse. Even though I was exhausted last night I managed 2.25 miles on treadmill and another 3 miles through neighborhood with DH. Tonight will be more of the same!

Star-Way to go, your ticker looks fantastic and I'm using as my inspiration to drag myself back to my stats....i'm going to be in denial until then ;-)

Take care,
Jen

Star 10-18-2005 07:54 AM
