okay, i've tried everything. I am heavier than ever. Thinking of starting back on LA. What plan would I be on at 190, 5'6"? I was on gold plan before, but that was at 155. What I would give to get back there .... and I thought I was big then.

Tomorrow my DH and I are driving to the Kananaskis(the mountains) and are going to go for a hike and then have lunch at the lodge. It might be a cool day but I am totally looking forward to it.

Its our Canadian Thanksgiving this weekend so I am making a Turkey on Monday but Ill go to the gym and work off some calories!!!!

Anyways, have a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend out there to my fellow Canadians friends!

Hey everyone! Haven't really gotten back on plan yet really just here and there. I have started walking in the afternoons with my mother and we are talking about joining the gym.

Glad to see that yall are doing well!

This board used to be jumping where did everyone go? Glad to see that yall are here though!

I went to the doctor today for my yearly checkup and discussed losing weight so that hubby and I can get pregnant. She said if I would lose 30-40 lbs that would be a good starting point and make it a lot easier for me to lose weight. It seems that when you are overweight and carry the weight in your belly that a hormone is produced that hurts your chances of getting pregnant. So I am ready to start moving in the right direction.

I know this will be hard but I really want to be a mom so it will so be worth it!

Hi All--I started the plan two weeks ago and so far I am down 8 pounds. I am currently on Menu Plan 4--I was on LAWL about 10 years ago and lost 132 pounds but ended up gaining 80 of that back. I'm thrilled to be back and in control----

Default It's Working!

I'm calling it 10lbs lost.

My analog scale is old and a little random. If I step on and off, the results vary by a pound or two. But the scale is good enough to reflect generally what I weigh.

I'm working the purple plan. I really love my LAWL program. I like having the bars or soup as extras for hungry (or stressed) days. I like I'm eating a well balanced diet of my food choices

I'm walking for exercise right now. I think I'll join our town's community center gym so I can exorcise when the weather gets cold.

Thanks for the support! Check out my blog, Losing it Again

Cheers y'all!
Heather

Starting take off today. I just realized I originally started LA on Halloween, 2005. How time flies! Wish I would have just stuck to it!!

Good for you Mini! I love doing TakeOff! I typically drop 5lb in the two days. I was thinking about starting it TakeOff today myself, but I think I'll do it Thursday & Friday. My work schedule is better for that program.

Good luck!

Wow, back from vacation and gained 5 pounds in a week. Its hard to give up food and drinks on vacation I guess!
I went back to the gym on Monday and it nearly killed me. I took yesterday off but I am hitting the gym again tonight.
I am on a mission now to lose 20 pounds by January 28th as 12 of us are going to Mexico and I am probably the biggest girl going. The others are quite fit. I got my LA weightloss book out this morning and read thru it during a few breaks today. I can't remember what I did instead of the LA Lites. I think I had an extra fruit or starch. Would any of you know?
I definately have to start thinking of meal planning for my week again. My husband is going to hate having chicken and fish for a month!!! haha

Hey Joan-I wouldn't worry too much about vacation weight-it usually comes off quick since sodium and alcohol kinda bloat you . . .drink your water and i bet it comes off fast!

Good luck on your mission! If I remember correctly-the sub for lites was a fruit AND a starch.

I'm hoping for at least another 25lbs gone by Jan 18th (my one year surgiversary). I really need to be consistent in my exercise instead of doing it in spurts and stay away from my favorite fruit (wine!).

Check out my ticker bishes . . Onderland!

Hi Everyone! I'm new to this thread but have had great success doing LAWL. Like many of you, I lost and then gained because 'life got in the way'. I'm wondering if there's a November thread or another thread for LAWL that is ongoing?

Good luck to everyone during the holidays. I remember losing weight over Thanksgiving when I did LAWL a few years back! This is a great plan no matter what happened with the company.
