EFS Phase 1 question

  • Hi,

    I just had a question on some things on the menu, for the beans and chickpeas are we allowed to use the ones in the can or should we make them fresh?

  • You are allowed to have canned beans & chickpeas, but it is better to use fresh- the canned beans usually have a really high sodium content.

  • Just make sure that you rinse the beans & chickpeas of thoroughly. For me, canned beans are so much more convenient than soaking bagged/fresh beans over night.
