Good Morning Ladies
Good morning ladies. I hope all of you are well. I have been pretty busy the last couple of days. As most of you know my son has been sick and out of school for a week. Well he went back on Monday thank goodness and he is feeling much better. We also had a party for him on Saturday and yes even though it rained we still barbecued. My DH surprised me and he was able to get his friend to come with this Snow-Cone, Popcorn, Cotton Candy and Zeppole Machine. My son and his friends had a blast. I think the adults had a great time too cutting in line for the cotton candy. I had no idea my husband was going to go all out like this but I can truly say that it was a special party for such a great kid. Plus on top of it all I remained POP. We made all types of grilled food and side dishes. Unfortunately, because I was so busy I skipped a couple of meals/food servings for the day which I was not to happy about so I hope it doesn't catch up with me in terms of weight gain or weight stand still. However, the next day I made sure I did what I was supposed to do.
Luckybustert: I am happy you a feeling much, much better and that you are able to come off some of those medicines that you were taking. Congrats on your weightloss as well. I hear you about picking up on the intensity to continue with the progress it is so motivating to hear when you loose as much weight as you did. I always try to think of 5 pounds as a 5 pound bag of rice or a 5 pound bag of sugar. Now try carrying picking up and carrying two of those around for 24 hours a day and seven days a week and you are not allowed to put it down not even for a second. I don't think many people will be able to carry around the 10 pounds of sugar like that. So your accomplishment is a great one and keep of the fantastic work. Chiquite623: Welcome...Yes even though this challenge is about to end in two more days. We will be creating another one instantly. We are having way to much fun checking in and supporting each other to stop. (ha, ha) Mommyofsix: All I have to say is that you rock. I am so proud of how much you are challenging yourself andmeeting your goals. You are defintely inspiring. You are on your way to Onederland and everyone is waiting for you there. Oh yeah and Happy Belated Birthday to you. I hope you had an enjoyable day and you deserve all the best. Lori16: I have never tried any of the SB meals. Thanks for the information. I will try it one day though when the prices go down a bit. I think I am going to go onto their website to see there frozen food product line. I try to stay away from the frozen meals and limit them to once a week only. JLem311: Welcome Back to the Ticker World. Clanori: Sounds like a wonderful vibrant household.... JerseyMadchen: Thanks for the well wishes. I hope you are doing good with your move. HEY CECIL and KITYCAT ~ I hope you ladies are doing well. |
Kennedy- I am so glad that your party went well and your son had a great Birthday. It sounded like a great party and that you made good food choices. Also I am sure he is ready to be back in school.
The summer challenge officially ends tomorrow I will think today of a new Summer challenge for us!! Any suggestions???? |

Hello Ladies! It is about 5:30 pm over at my end here in the lovely New Jersey. Just got off of work and waiting for hubby to come home. Mommyofsix yes most definetly we need to start a new challenge. I am trying to think hard of a catchy title but my creative juices aren't flowing. So what ever you or anyone else decides is fine with me. Just let me know the time and the place and I will be there. I can't believe that this is the third challenge I have not been able to meet. Oh well on to the next one.
