My mother had to have her gallbladder removed years ago from fad/crash diets in the 70's and early 80's. NOT fun. There are many side effects when you lose weight TOO QUICKLY. Gallbladder issues/gallstones are one of them...losing muscle mass is another. There are more.
I don't lose a steady 1 or 2 pounds per week. My body doesn't work that way. One week I might lose nothing at all, the next week I might lose .5 a pound, and the next week I might lose 3 pounds. The loss per week varies, but if you AVERAGE it over the course of a month, it is pretty close to the 1-2 pounds per week.
