your opinions if you please.

hello, so i am looking for a weight loss pill, i just want something that works. i have wasted my money on too many and i have been researching and researching and cant seem to find one that will work. i am 5'9" and i currently weigh 178. i have been going back and forth from 180-175 for like EIGHT MONTHS now and i am sick of it. i diet on and off but always get discouraged because it doesn't come off! when i do diet i stick to 1200-1400 calories a day with 30 minutes of cardio and 20 minutes of strength training. and it has become obvious that i need something extra to help get this weight off, so if anyone has had success with a certain weight loss aid pleease let me know. im sick of feeling helpless.
thanks!

I'm sorry I'm not sure what diet pill may work, even though I've definitely tried my share! The few that I did lose a little weight on, came right back after I stopped using them- so I wouldn't exactly say they worked.

One thing I know works is The McDougall Diet, you can pick up the book at most libraries. I'm currently doing the McDougall Maximum Weight Loss plan, I've done it 5 days so far, and lost 6 lbs, I eat as much as I want- but you are limited to the foods you are allowed to have.

I hope you find what you are looking for. Have faith in yourself, you can do it! :cheer2:

Here is the link if you want to check into it. There is also a lot of great information about this diet plan online, I've never header negative feedback!

I can also say that I don't think weight loss pills are the answer. I never took them myself, but I've watched my SIL go up and down like crazy using different ones at different times. Now, she is counting calories and exercising and has lost weight and maintained it without pills for the first time ever.

I would say that at 5'9, 178 pounds with 50 minutes of exercise each day that 1200-1400 calories might not be enough. Your body could be holding on to the calories you are giving it rather than losing. You might want to try 1500-1700 per day with that exercise level and see what happens.

I do know that it is frustrating being in one place for so long. It might take some time, but you will figure out what works for you. Hang in there! :)

Have you tried alli? I found that it works very well with my calorie counting and boosts my weightloss almost 50%.

I'm not sure what sort of diet pill you are looking for. If you want something to control appetite I have found Pytobase Hoodia DeLite to be really awesome. It's not a diet pill, it is a drink mix with hoodia and other all natural ingredients. It only has 100 calories per serving and is packed with vitamins and minerals. If I drink it in the morning I have noticed I have less hunger during the day. Only draw back is that it is really expensive.
