English Muffin ?
I am on red plan with lites. I am doing this on my own as all the centers around me have closed. Anyway, I have been having an english muffin (90 cals) each morning an counting it as 2 starches. Is this ok?

Not a problem at all.. Where are you finding 90 cal English Muffins??
I know the Thomas "Lite" muffins are 100, aren't they? I'm an English Muffin fanatic, so the Thomas Lites didn't do it for me. As a result, I've had to swear them off... Back to the OQ, time was that our COD counselors would let us scrape by counting the Thomas muffins as 1 starch... |
yes, I've heard it it's 100 cal or less, it's 1 starch.
|
Yes I agree 1 starch!

Dan...I get the english muffins from the Giant supermarket. They come in a green bread type sleeve. They come in regular "lite" and whole wheat "lite" The reg./white have more fiber 5gms/muffin than the whole wheat. I think they are Giant brand but when I get home if it is different, I'll let you know. I love them and think toasted, they are fantastic!

Weight Watchers does english muffins as well and they are only one starch.

My COD told me that 1 starch= 110 cal or less. I am however on the numbered plan ..
