I'm not sure if anyone has talked about this or anything.
But I've heard that if you drink alot of green tea (without sugar of course) it helps you lose weight. Does anyone know if thats legit information?
Okay, I googled this a little... and the results are mixed at best. From most of what I saw it says it may help burn a couple extra calories... However! With needing to have about a 3,500 calorie deficit each week in order to lose a pound "a couple" doesn't really make a difference here or there... unless you're drinking green tea instead of eating a snack or something.
I don't know if green tea has any special weight loss properties but it definitely helps you feel full through out the day and it is good for your overall health. So, I think it is one way to help with weight control.
I just read the The Ultimate Tea Diet and having been drinking black, green and white tea throughout the day. Approx. 10 cups a day. It has truly helped my hunger. I consumed a lot of water prior to drinking tea so I don't believe it's the increase in fluid intake that curbs the hunger. Not sure what it is but tea is good for you so I'll keep drinking.
